The Lebanese cuisine has had a long history of including fresh and organic ingredients in abundance.
The Lebanese culture is known for its immense hospitality and joys of sharing ones food with others. “Sahtein” is an expression often used by Middle Easterners. Its literal translation is wishing someone to have twice their health. It’s sort of an expression of welcoming the sharing of a meal. Listen for this expression at the Festival.
The rich food and dessert menu will be served all day. Come and enjoy the homemade Shawarma (Gyro), Falafel, Hummus, Tabouleh and much more. Plus, there will be a Saj booth; serving Mana’eesh zaatar (thyme) & cheese. For dessert you can expecr Balklava, Nammoura and much more, along with your Turkish cup of coffee freshly made and served with “Ahla w Sahla.”
For entertainment on Saturday and Sunday, enjoy a live performance featuring Tarab voice by Waseem Rabih &. Also, Dabkeh dance performances, folk songs. Kids will have F-U-N in the Kids Zone: bouncing house, carnival games, face painting and much more.
