Lotus, California, – Dip your toes in the river while grooving to world renowned vintage rock, blues, new and old grass, sweet jam and the finest of folk at the 8th Annual American River Music Festival in California’s scenic Gold Country.
Situated on the South Fork of the American River in the Sierra Nevada foothills, the Coloma Lotus Valley offers a stunning backdrop for 30 live music performances. The event takes place September 12 – 14 at Lotus Park, 950 Lotus Rd, Lotus CA.

This year’s performers include The Bills, Greg Brown, Tommy Malone (of the Subdudes), Laura Love, The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, Whitewater Ramble, The Parson Red Heads, Baskery, Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines, Rebecca Loebe and many more.
One of the most popular tickets is the festival camping ticket, which includes Friday-Monday riverfront camping, all music admittance (33 shows in 9 locations), join-in-shops and all shuttles. ($129). The festival also offers pre-sale single day tickets ($40), two-day tickets ($59) and a whitewater rafting option for the adventure seekers.
Main stage performances are alongside the river with a vibrant market filled with food and drink, fun kid’s activities, “live” art, jams, dance and magical times. Nightly showcase performances at local hot spots and festival campgrounds take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
