The IMAX(r)3D release of Island of Lemurs: Madagascar An IMAX 3D Experience will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience(r) with proprietary IMAX DMR(r) (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with the Esquire IMAX Theatre’s six stories high and 80 feet wide screen, customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
Island of Lemurs: Madagascar reteams Freeman, who has one of the most distinctive voices in the movie business, with Drew Fellman, who also wrote and produced the 2011 IMAX 3D documentary spectacle Born to Be Wild 3D. David Douglas serves as director of the film, which features trailblazing scientist Patricia Wright, an expert on lemurs and the wildlife of Madagascar.
