On February 10, 2010, a Sacramento County Superior Court judge granted a Preliminary Injunction which temporarily prohibits the Sacramento County Sheriffs Department from applying a recent amendment to penal code section 4019, Time Credit for Work and Good Behavior, to county jail inmates. In compliance with the judges temporary restraining order the Sheriffs Department will immediately revert to the pre-amendment application of penal code section 4019 |
