Detectives assigned to the Sacramento County Sheriffs Departments Sexual Assault Bureau are asking for information related to a recent incident. On July 18, 2010, at 11:57 p.m., Sheriffs deputies responded to the report of an attempted sexual assault at an apartment complex located in the 4400 block of Shandwick Drive in Antelope.  When deputies arrived they were told by the adult female victim she was asleep on her sofa when a man entered her apartment through an unlocked door and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim struggled with her attacker and he ran away.

The victim did not get a good enough look at the suspects face to produce a composite sketch. She could only describe her attacker as a white male adult, approximately 6 tall, weighing between 180 and 190 pounds with a medium build. He had brown shaggy collar length hair and she believes he was clean shaven. He was wearing green pants which may have been sweat pants.

Anyone with information about this case, or who may have seen someone matching the suspect description in the area of 4400 Shandwick Drive on the night of July 18, 2010, is urged to call the Sheriffs Sexual Assault Bureau at (916) 874-5070.
