Fairways to Fairytales Golf Tournament October 12th

The Fairways to Fairytales Golf Tournament will mark 10 years of raising funds for nonprofit Fairytale Town on Friday, Oct. 12, starting at 1 p.m. The 18-hole tournament will take place at Empire Ranch Golf Club in Folsom. Proceeds support programs and improvements at Fairytale Town. 

A buffet dinner, raffle, live auction and awards presentation will follow the tournament. The winning foursome will be awarded the Humpty Dumpty trophy. Awards are also given for longest drive and closest to the pin. There are two hole-in-one prize holes: a 2013 Lexus, provided by Magnussen's Lexus of Fremont, and a $10,000 cash prize. Raffle and auction prizes range from foursomes at prestigious courses and golf lessons to massages, restaurant gift certificates, bottles of wine and more. 

Foursomes are available for $750, and single players are $200 each. Hole sponsorships beginning at $1,000 are also available. All golfers receive a tee-bag, golf shirt, lunch and ticket to the awards dinner. Register for the tournament online at www.fairytaletown.org or in person at the Fairytale Town box office.
