Sheriff's detectives have arrested a former school employee in connection with alleged inappropriate contact that he had with students earlier this year. Jeremiah Ellington, 27, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on misdemeanor charges of child annoyance and use of an electronic device with the intent to annoy. He is currently being held on $10,000 bail.

Ellington is a former instructional aide at Bradshaw Christian School in Sacramento. On June 4, 2012, Sheriff's investigators commenced an investigation into allegations that Ellington maintained "inappropriate communication" with one or more students. Detectives completed an investigation and forwarded their findings to the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, resulting in warrants being issued for Ellington's arrest. He was taken into custody this afternoon at a residence in Sacramento County.
