21 Year Old Thrown from Truck Dies

On October 19, 2012 at approximately 5:52 p.m., Anthony Garcia, a 21 year old male from Sacramento was driving a 2005 white Toyota Tundra on westbound I-80 and exiting at Madison Avenue.
Garcia lost control of his vehicle, causing it to strike a metal guardrail. After striking the guardrail, the impact caused the driver's side door of the Tundra to open and Garcia was thrown from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Garcia was transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Hospital where he died from his injuries.
It is unknown if alcohol and /or drugs are a contributing factor in this collision at this time, pending a toxicology report.
