Man Convicted of Molesting Girlfriend's Daughter
District Attorney Jan Scully announced that Derk Ross was convicted by jury of committing a lewd and lascivious act on a child under the age of 14, and five counts of sexual assault on a child under the age of 10.
Ross was the live-in boyfriend of the victim's mother. He molested the young girl from age 6 through age 8.
Ross will be sentenced on March 22, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in Department 33 by the Honorable Michael Savage.
