3 Jailed on Drug Charges
On Wednesday, September 25, 2013, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department's multi-agency drug task force (HIDTA) served search warrants in the 8000 block of Voula Way in Wilton. Taken into custody and booked into the Sacramento County Mail Jail were Wilton residents Isabella Restani (63yrs) and Arnold Broden (66yrs) and Los Angeles County resident Igor Petrovski (46yrs).
As a result of the investigation local and federal task force investigators (representing the Drug Enforcement Agency, Sacramento County Probation Department, Folsom Police Department, Sacramento Police Department, Citrus Heights Police Department and the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department) seized over 100 marijuana plants, over $80,000 in cash, indicia for sales, possession for sales and cultivation of marijuana, two handguns and one shotgun.
The High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) program is a federally funded anti-drug program that enhances and coordinates drug control efforts among local, State, and Federal law enforcement agencies. The program provides agencies with coordination, equipment, technology, and additional resources to combat drug trafficking and its harmful consequences in critical regions of the United States.
Isabella Restani, Arnold Broden and Igor Petrovski were all booked on the charges of possession of marijuana for sale and cultivation of marijuana.
