Police Seek Information About Injury Causing Altercation

The Sacramento Police Department is looking for information regarding an altercation that has left one subject seriously injured.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at approximately 10:54 a.m., officers in the area of the Nugget Market, in the 1000 block of Florin Road, were hailed by a witness regarding a down subject.  

Officers went to investigate and discovered an altercation had occurred resulting in a female adult subject falling to the ground and requiring medical attention.  Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the incident stemmed from a sales transaction at Ambrosia Nails.  It is believed that an employee (victim) confronted a customer regarding a dispute over payment.

The customer involved in the altercation remained on scene and was contacted by police on the day of the incident. 

Detectives are seeking information from anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the altercation.  The 61-year-old victim continues to be hospitalized with serious injuries.
