Crossroads Diversified Services Appoints New CFO
(Sacramento, Calif.) - Crossroads Diversified Services, Inc. today announced the appointment of Joe DeBiasio as Chief Financial Officer. DeBiasio, whose appointment took effect earlier this month, brings more than ten years of experience to Crossroads, including extensive experience in financial management of business and nonprofit enterprises.
DeBiasio succeeds Bill Walters, who served as Chief Financial Officer for 15 years. A member of the leadership team, DeBiasio reports directly to David DeLeonardis, president and chief executive officer of Crossroads Diversified Services, Inc. and its social enterprise subsidiary, Crossroads Facility Services, Inc.

"He brings with him a rich background in his years with large and small auditing firms and an ideal blend of private-sector and nonprofit experience. His collaborative nature and strategic mindset will be key to continuing to drive future financial growth to fund our mission-related endeavors."
DeBiasio most recently served as a certified public accountant for Chavez, Kirstien & Co. where he was responsible for managing the firm's audit practice. Previously, he worked as a senior associate with KPMG US in the in Assurance Services Department managing financial strategy, planning, and reporting.
DeBiasio's hire follows Crossroads' strong performance in 2013 in which it provided direct employment services to more than 5,000 California job seekers. Funding for these services were achieved through local workforce development partnerships as well a the continued success of Crossroads' janitorial and landscaping business, providing services to nearly 4.5 million square feet of government and privately owned facilities in California and Texas.

DeBiasio has long been an active member of the Sacramento community, serving as the CalCPA Sacramento Chapter's nonprofit committee chair from 2009 to 2010, and now as a member of the Elk Grove Rotary and on the Board of Directors for Sol Aureus College Preparatory and Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation.
A Rhode Island native and United States Air Force veteran, DeBiasio received his Bachelor of Science in Business, Professional Accounting from California State University, Chico.
