The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 37-year-old George Wallace for a double murder.

On December 15, 2009, at 1:03 a.m., the Police Department responded to the 2200 block of 18th Avenue on a shooting.  Officers arrived finding two male victims who had been shot.  Emergency personnel responded and pronounced both victims dead at the scene.  Two other adults were at the house during the homicide and were unharmed.  The victims are being identified as a male 54-year-old and male 60-years-old.

The Sacramento Police Departments Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene.  Investigators believe a male suspect forced entry into the apartment and shot the two victims before fleeing.

During the course of the investigation, detectives reviewed a shooting that occurred on November 28, 2009, where two residents at this location had been shot.  One of the subjects shot in November ended up being a victim of this homicide.  The November shooting escalated as a result of a fight between two females a few days prior.  In the November incident the suspect, 21-year-old Bryanna Warren, forced entry into the residence and shot both victims before fleeing.  Detectives were able to identify and arrest Bryanna Warren on December 2, 2009 for attempted murder and burglary.

George Wallace is the boy friend of Bryanna Warren.  Based on the investigation, Detectives believe that on December 15, Wallace shot and killed both victims.  On December 15, 2009, Wallace was taken into custody without incident for murder and illegal possession of ammunition.  The suspects photo is not being released at this time.  The victims identities are not being released at this time pending the notification of their next of kin.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime or this person to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES).  Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
